Dr Barbara Shepherd

Primary qualifications: (1990 MB BChir, MRCGP, DCH)
Dr Shepherd qualified from Cambridge University & St Bartholomew's Hospital, London and completed GP training in Cambridge. She joined Comberton and Eversden Surgery in 1995. She enjoys all aspects of general practice but specialist interests include women’s health, Contraception, sexual health, coil fitting, Contraceptive implant fitting. She also has completed the Special Skills module in Menopause care from the British Menopause Society, care of elderly and care home medicine. She spends half a day in a week providing GP services to Home Meadow care home in Toft & Gracefield nursing home in Dry Drayton. She is a keen musician, piano & duet player and a regular singer in two Cambridge choirs. She also enjoys gardening and growing vegetables & fruits in her allotment during her time away from work.
Usual working days - Thursdays & Fridays.
