Teaching and Research
In addition to providing general medical services, the Practice also undertakes the continuing education and training of Health professionals working at the Practice. We also teach medical students and nurses from Addenbrooke’s NHS Trust.
GP Registrars
Comberton and Eversden surgeries is an approved provider of postgraduate general practice speciality training. Dr Wheatley is the GP trainer and Dr Kent the Associate GP trainer.
We usually have a registrar working with us for 6 or 12 months as part of their speciality training. Our current registrar is Dr O’Shea who is with us until July 2019.

The practice is registered to participate in clinical research and is proud to support research trials. We will always provide detailed information and seek your consent if any aspect of your treatment is effected by or included in a research trial or project. This includes use of your data.
